How does Guitar Academy Asia differ from a music school or private? Ans: We emphasizes holistic musical development for young learners. Unlike private piano lessons that focus mainly on reading and playing music, our curriculum, encompassing "listen, sing, play, read, and create," cultivates fundamental music skills effectively. While it may seem different at first, this approach lays a robust foundation for 6 to 7-year-olds, whose fingertips are rapidly developing, paving the way for solid performance skills.

I don't know much about music, will I struggle to keep up with the lessons? Ans: No prior music knowledge is necessary. Please be assured that we do not ask you to do anything too difficult. The key focus is on enjoying music together with your child during the lessons.

Which guitar should I prepare? Ans: No worries about your guitar, do bring along your guitar and we will help you to access its suitability and advise accordingly. If you don't have a guitar, we have beginner guitar starter kit to ensure you have a great instrument to learn and progress.

Which type of guitar do you teach? Classical or acoustic? Ans: Our beginner lesson are suitable for both classical and acoustic guitar learners to equipped a strong foundation in handling the instrument and develop note reading, counting, through notations and tablature. learner will be able to strum and sing along familiar tunes in the 1st few lessons and progress to play melodies...
